Castle Combe circuit is renowned as one of the fastest circuits in the land. Fowlers of Bristol are running track days on Wednesdays, starting 20th March until 9th October. Noise limits are a strict 105db and the cost is £110. Add £50 if you want the one to one instructor, but this is limited to just 6 places, so be quick.

Steve can supply your Ducati with an FIM chip and set it up with his laptop computer for best performance. A quick spin on the dyno and you will have some pieces of paper with meaningless coloured lines wiggled on them, To Steve this means horsepower, to me and you it means a nice set of felt tip pens.

If you race a bike you will be aware that coolant or antifreeze cannot be used in the engine of your bike. Water alone will rot your engine away quicker than Ghandi would get through a pair of slippers. During the last season the Old Gits Race Team have been testing a solution which replaces coolant, can stay in the engine even when your not racing, will not corrode aluminium and will allow the engine to run up to 10 degrees cooler than with regular coolant and will completely dry up if spilt. The only drawback is that it has no anti freezing properties, so would only be suitable for road bikes if your garage is centrally heated.
