Once again Troy Bayliss dominated both races at San
Marino, as he notched up his sixth double of the season.

passed and never looked back.
Neil Hodgson had a great scrap with Noriyuki Haga on
the Aprilia, and got a well deserved third place, showing
the form he is capable of.
Ruben Xaus crashed and ended his run of podium finishes.
Race two: Race two saw Hodgson take the lead, with Bayliss
and co in chase.
Soon into the race Hodgson ran into tyre trouble and
slid back down the order, with Bayliss and Edwards again
at the front.
Bayliss then hit the front with Edwards only seeing
the front when Bayliss allowed him through. Bayliss
thought he had passed Edwards under a yellow flag.
Haga finished a comfortable third, with Hodgson fourth
ahead of Ben Bostrom.
The Alstare Corona Suzuki finished sixth ahead of Chilli,
who was just four tenths behind the four cylinder Suzuki.
